Meditate won Derbystoet

Swedish Anders Ström/Courant Stable is having success all over the world and owns and have owned a large number of top horses on both sides of the Atlantic; Joviality, Hypnotic Am, Green Malanishi, Cruzado dela Noche, Greenshoe, Gimpanzee to name a few. Only a few weeks ago they won the Hambletonian Oaks with their own bred filly Nezuko Kamado (Chapter Seven).

Today it was time for the Swedish Mare Derby, and their Greenshoe daughter Mediate was in the final 12. With a great trip, racing second over, Mats E Djuse sent the mare on a long sprint with 1,5 quarters to go, and in the stretch she easily wore down the leader Nyharajah. Trainer to Meditates is Stefan P Pettersson.
